The winter solstice, the shortest day & longest night of the year is here. It’s a time to pause, reflect, & honor the transition into the light of a new season.
This year the solstice feels even more potent as we have just had the last Full Moon of 2024. The solstice is allowing us to mop up anything else left to release that no longer serves us & welcome the energy of 2025 with clarity, joy, & purpose.
Here are 3 simple yet powerful rituals for you to embrace the magic of this special day & have a little fun too.
🌳 Reconnect with Nature
Step outside & immerse yourself in the rhythm of the season. A walk outdoors, even in the cold, can help you feel grounded & connected. Kick up some leaves, take a deep breath, & smile. You are beautiful & you are part of nature’s beautiful cycle of renewal.
🧘♂️ Practice Grounding Yoga
Flow through a grounding yoga sequence to nourish your body & calm your mind. Move slowly, stretch & breathe with intention to ground yourself & release all that does serve you. This is your time to create space in mind, body & Soul, for new beginnings while living your joy.
🕯 Light a Candle & Reflect
In a quiet moment, light a candle & reflect on these three questions:
✏️ What am I ready to release from this year?
✏️ What light do I want to carry forward?
✏️ How can I share that light with others?
